About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our team in [Location]. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components to high safety and quality standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform welding operations on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Measure, cut, and prepare metal components prior to welding
Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed welds
Maintain welding equipment and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site/workshop
Adhere to company quality standards and ISO/EN welding procedures where applicable

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ professional welding experience in [industry, e.g., structural, fabrication, manufacturing, construction]
Relevant welding certification/qualification/experience (e.g., QQI/FETAC Level 5/6, ISO 9606, AWS, or internationally recognised equivalent)
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
Valid Safe Pass / CSCS card (if applicable to your sector)
Strong attention to detail, commitment to workplace safety, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physically fit and able to work in [specify environment: workshop/site/indoor/outdoor]
