 Job Description
Pallet Service AC Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Wooden Pallet Repairer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and restoring wooden pallets to the required quality and safety standards.
Main duties include: Inspecting wooden pallets and identifying damaged boards, blocks and components. Dismantling damaged sections of pallets where necessary. Measuring and cutting replacement timber using appropriate saws and tools. Repairing and rebuilding pallets using pneumatic nail guns, hand tools and other suitable equipment. Replacing damaged boards and blocks. Checking repaired pallets for strength, stability and overall condition. Grading and sorting pallets according to company quality standards. Maintaining a clean and safe working area. Following all company health and safety procedures.
 
Applicants should be comfortable working with hand and power tools and carrying out physical work in a busy pallet repair environment.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: €37,544 per annum / €18.05 per hour

Job Requirements
Job Requirements

Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, carpentry, manufacturing or a similar practical role is desirable.
Ability to inspect wooden pallets and identify damaged boards, blocks and components.
Experience using hand tools, saws, pneumatic nail guns and other workshop equipment.
Ability to measure and cut timber accurately.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards.
Ability to carry out physical work in a busy working environment.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions and complete repair work to the required standard.
Willingness to work 40 hours per week in a permanent full-time position
